“By accepting weaknesses along your life path, you will stumble upon your strengths.”
Life’s true purpose is to go within and Know Thyself.
When an SUV hit me at age 29 at the height of my Saturn Return, I experienced a near-death experience. As I bounced off the other side, I heard “Gnothi Seauton.” I learned this means “Know Thyself. "
And it’s been my philosophy ever since.
Most of us, however, are programmed to override our innate divinity. Understanding our shadow and turning our wounds or weaknesses into strengths is the key to a soul’s revolution.
The philosophical maxim —- Know Thyself — was inscribed upon the Temple of Apollo in the ancient Greek precinct of Delphi. When the bees flew into my life, I learned that the bee goddesses resided in Delphi. I am part Greek, and years later, when I visited the serene temple, I came across the maxim engraved on granite.
Full circle.
Part of knowing yourself is finding and experiencing your weaknesses. By feeling the pain, you can remove obstacles standing in the way of your happiness, goals, success, and any dream you’d like to become a reality. It’s good to know what you are good at and stay in your zone of genius.
In other words, listen to your soul’s wisdom at all costs if you can.
Strength In Black Goo
There are many ways to cultivate strength. How about if you find it in a black goo? Shilajit is a natural, tar-like substance that has been around for centuries due to the slow decomposition of plants and minerals, especially fulvic acid, humic acid, and over 80 different bioactive compounds. It is found primarily in the rocks of the Himalayas, Tibet, Altai Mountains, and other mountain ranges. Known for its use in traditional Ayurvedic medicine, shilajit is revered for its purported health benefits.
Shilajit forms over long periods from the decay of plants and organic material that gets compressed by rock layers. Over time, this material becomes a resinous substance with a thick, sticky consistency, seeping out mountain rocks during warmer months.
At HoneyColony, our energy Equilibrium contains 17 superfoods, including shilajit.
“I discovered shilajit 18 years ago, and when I tried it, I was amazed,” recalls Gosia Steele, the formulator of HoneyColony’s functional food line Equilibrium. “I met someone who introduced me to this particular farmer in Pakistan, and I decided to put it in our honey-based formula to magnify the health benefits.”
Lotus Blooming Herbs Is Born
Like with all things in our current mediocre world, quality is crucial. Because of its rarity and legendary power, Himalayan Shilajit is highly prized and sought after. Therefore, many unscrupulous business people sell diluted and sometimes entirely fake substances, claiming these products to be Shilajit. Big surprise (read: sarcasm). Companies use solvent extraction of ordinary soil to draw out specific components found in Shilajit (fulvic acid and minerals) and then sell the resulting standardized extract powder as Shilajit.
Gross!
Johann Helf, an Ayurveda practitioner and founder of Lotus Blooming Herbs™, experienced an immediate and profound rush of energy and mental clarity when he tried shilajit.
“I felt strong, focused, and clear and became obsessed with this magical “blood of the mountains,” Helf recalls. ”I searched for a source of authentic and naturally purified Shilajit for a decade. “
He even risked his life to obtain this precious gift of nature in his travels through some of the highest altitudes and most remote mountain villages. His obsessive search resulted in a pure, unadulterated, and Authentic Shilajit™.
After sampling many different grades and learning everything he could about this mystical resin, he met a family collecting and purifying gold-grade Shilajit for more than 500 years.
Ancient Resin From the Higher Ups
Genuine Shilajit takes millions of years and perfect conditions to produce. It is found trapped within rocky cliffs at very high altitudes and in remote regions of the Himalayas. There are four grades, and the most prized, Gold Grade, is virtually unavailable, even in India.
Here are some more of its health benefits:
Cognitive Support: Shilajit contains fulvic acid, which may help protect brain cells and improve cognitive function. Some research suggests it could be beneficial for memory learning and possibly slowing the progression of Alzheimer's disease.
Hormonal Balance and Fertility: In men, shilajit has been shown to boost testosterone levels and sperm count, which may support reproductive health. In women, oral shilajit has also demonstrated improvements in fertility. You may want to give a vaxxed girlfriend some. Just sayin’. Infertility is going to be a thing. It’s part of the transhumanist design.
Altitude Sickness Relief: Shilajit is traditionally used to reduce symptoms of altitude sickness, such as headaches, nausea, and fatigue, by improving oxygen transport in the body.
Bone Health: Some studies suggest that shilajit can reduce bone loss and inflammation, especially in postmenopausal women, making it potentially beneficial for preventing osteoporosis
Digestive Health: Shilajit may support gut health by promoting the production of digestive enzymes and supporting nutrient absorption, thanks to its fulvic acid content
Anti-Inflammatory and Antioxidant Effects: It has been traditionally used in Ayurveda to reduce inflammation. Because Shilajit is rich in antioxidants, it can help protect the body from oxidative stress. This is important because oxidative damage is linked to fatigue and reduced physical performance. Meanwhile, Shilajit's fulvic acid may enhance the absorption of essential nutrients from food, helping the body recover from weakness by ensuring it gets the necessary vitamins and minerals. Protecting cells from oxidative stress might be helpful for overall health and managing chronic conditions.
Boosts mitochondrial function. The mitochondria are responsible for producing energy in cells, and enhancing their efficiency can help combat fatigue and improve overall energy levels.
Shilajit can lower cortisol levels. Shilajit has been used in traditional Ayurvedic medicine for its adaptogenic properties, which may help the body adapt to stress.
Cortisol is the body's primary stress hormone, and chronically high levels can lead to various health issues, such as anxiety, weight gain, and fatigue.
While shilajit has many promising benefits, it’s important to use purified forms to avoid contamination with heavy metals and to consult a healthcare provider before using it, especially if you have pre-existing conditions or are pregnant.
Maryam I've been watching your work for awhile, seeing you on Union of the Unwanted and AM Wakeup. I like that you are moving more into consciousness expansion. Excited to see where you go with that. I'm always looking for good Shilajit, I've had some good stuff from Malaysia but I'd like to try this one out. Is there a Discount code you have for this particular one? Thanks for all you have put in over the years in spite of the censorship.
For some reason cannot order your forthcoming book. "password" issue supposedly.
