Marcelo Hamui, known affectionately as "Yogacelo," is a visionary entrepreneur, wellness advocate, and founder of **VORG (Vegan, Organic, Raw, Gluten-Free)**—a brand dedicated to empowering individuals with plant-based superfoods and transformative health solutions.
I met Marcelo in Mexico last year and hung out with him and David Avocado Wolfe. His crew didn’t drink alcohol (like me) and was high vibing. He gifted me some VORG months later when I saw him in Miami. I have been using it ever since as a morning beverage.
Early Inspiration and Roots in Wellness
Marcelo’s journey reflects his deep commitment to fostering vitality, balance, and purpose, making him a modern leader in holistic nutrition and mindful living. Marcelo’s passion for health and wellness began early, drawing inspiration from his travels and mentorship under renowned health expert David Avocado Wolfe. These experiences ignited his curiosity about the medicinal power of superfoods and their capacity to enhance physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.
Marcelo embodies divine masculinity and is also a yoga teacher. He’s inspired countless students with his integrative approach to movement, mindfulness, and self-care. This phase of his life laid the foundation for his eventual creation of VORG, a brand embodying the principles of health, balance, and sustainability.
The Birth of VORG
VORG was born out of Marcelo’s vision to create a product line that addresses the nutritional needs of modern lifestyles while staying true to his ethical values. The flagship product, **VORG SuperShake**, is a blend of **22 superfood ingredients**, including Moringa, Cacao, Ashwagandha, Shilajit, and Spirulina, designed to optimize health from the inside out. The formula reflects Marcelo’s dedication to sourcing the highest-quality ingredients and delivering a product that alkalizes, energizes, and nourishes the body.
Under Marcelo’s leadership, VORG has expanded its offerings to include products like **Raw Cacao Powder** and **VORGaccino**, a healthier alternative to coffee that supports focus and stamina. Each product is crafted with a commitment to **vegan, organic, raw, and gluten-free standards**, emphasizing purity, effectiveness, and sustainability.
A Lifestyle of "Manning Up"
Marcelo exemplifies what it means to "Man Up" in the modern world by embracing challenges, striving for personal growth, and empowering others to do the same. His approach to "manning up" is rooted in:
1. **Resilience:** Marcelo navigates the demands of entrepreneurship with grit and determination, staying focused on his mission despite obstacles.
2. **Leadership:** As the founder and CEO of VORG, Marcelo leads by example, cultivating a culture of integrity, innovation, and impact.
3. **Wellness as Strength:** Marcelo demonstrates that true strength lies in physical, mental, and spiritual health. Through yoga, superfoods, and mindfulness, he embodies vitality and balance.
4. **Community Building:** Marcelo believes in uplifting others. His products are more than health solutions—they are gateways to a community of like-minded individuals striving for a better world.
5. **Giving Back:** Marcelo’s work reflects his belief in the transformative power of education and access. Through VORG, he is on a mission to improve lives with the wisdom of superfoods and holistic living.

Hi Maryam,
I love your work and I always enjoy your investigations and reporting.
Investigative Journalism needs a lot more people like you.
This sounds really awesome, but my concern is about the Shilajit. One of my other favorite reliable sources is Mike Adams AKA The Health Ranger. He founded the Brighteon free-speech platform using funds from his 2 accredited food testing labs, and profits from his bestselling book Food Forensics.
Mike did a video earlier this year about all of the lead, arsenic, and aluminum he was finding in the various Shilajit brands he tested using mass spectrometry.
So it begs the question has the Shilajit been tested?
No criticism or anything, but whenever I hear the word Shilajit "is it being tested?" always goes through my mind. Not everyone knows about the heavy metals issue.
This is Mikes video about his Shilajit testing:
