On May 1st, a Select Subcommittee Report was published, which recommended that EcoHealth Alliance President Peter Daszak be debarred and criminally investigated. You can read the full report here.
Since April 2020, House Republicans have been investigating the origins of SARS-CoV2, the virus that caused the COVID-19 pandemic. This includes investigating the U.S. government’s funding and approving gain-of-function research, as well as the NIH and NIAID grant oversight process. This report examines these processes by analyzing NIAID grant, R01AI110964 – “Understanding the Risk of Bat Coronavirus Emergence,” awarded to EcoHealth and the corresponding compliance actions taken against it by NIH. During this investigation, the Select Subcommittee has reviewed more than one million pages of documents and interviewed more than a dozen fact witnesses. This work established the evidence to support five interim findings.
While we are now considering an accidental lab leak, Daszak maintains (still) that no gain-of-function research was conducted. So, we have two competing realities concurring.
During the hearing, one congresswoman even admitted that we will NEVER get to the bottom of this.
So, are all these hearings and reports for optics?
The Wuhan lab virus database was taken offline in the fall of 2019. Daszack says he has never seen the full virus database.
He acknowledged that the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) conducted coronavirus research that did not involve eco-health, that viruses may have been present, or that experiments were conducted that were never published. These possible activities could have resulted in a lab Leak.
“I've publicly stated that many times, including as a member of the WHO mission to investigate the COVID origins, all of us in the group unanimously noted that it was possible but extremely unlikely based on the evidence we have.”
Can we sum this up? He is saying they dont think this is a lab leak, but that maybe it is.
The highlight was when Congressman James Comer of Kentucky asked whether Daszak was an informant.
Here is the back-and-forth:
“Dr. Dascak, the U.S. intelligence community has been investigating the origins of COVID-19. During that investigation, were you ever contacted by any intelligence agencies?
“Yes.”
“Which ones?”
“The CIA, the FBI, and the Defense Intelligence Agency.”
“Dr. Daszak, before I ask you this next question, I want to remind you that you are under oath. Other than the interactions that you just testified to, have you or do you have a standing relationship, either officially or unofficially, with any agency in the intelligence community?”
“ No.”
“So you've never been an informant for the U.S. government?”
“You asked me if I have a standing relationship with any agencies in the intelligence community. The answer is no.”
“So you're stating publicly you've never been an informant for any U.S. intelligence agency?”
“I'm stating publicly that I do not have a standing relationship with the intelligence community. That was your question.”
“Have you ever been an informant for any U.S. intelligence agency?”
“Not to my knowledge.”
“I've certainly provided answers when they've asked me questions, as any citizen of the U.S.”
“.., Did they ask you questions before the COVID outbreak?”
‘I've spoken with an FBI before the COVID outbreak, of course.”
“So you had communications with the intelligence community before the outbreak of COVID?”
“The FBI was a member of the forum on microbial threats, which I'm the chair of… So yes, only in that context.”
“Like, what types of conversations did you talk about prior to the outbreak of COVID?”
“Talk about emerging disease threats and what information we have about where on the planet the next virus is likely to emerge.”
“So, did the U.S. intelligence community know what was going on in the Wuhan lab?”
“That's the question for the U.S. intelligence agency.”
“Do you find it troubling that, by all accounts from your testimony, the intelligence community suspected something fishy was going on at the Wuhan lab despite the fact that they still funded research? Were American taxpayer dollars at the Wuhan lab?”
“Well, I don't know that the intelligence community funded research there.”
“But the government did.”
“Yeah.”
“And the intelligence community is part of the government.”
Well, there you have it in a sideways sort of way. DARPA and ties to germ biowarfare. But sure, this all started in a wet market.
The full report doesn’t mention DARPA, but Dascak does offer that DARPA turned them down. There is reportedly a video where Peter Dascak, just months before the Covid outbreak, raving about how great it would be to insert furrin’ into these viruses….and then there were uncovered emails from 2018 where EcopHeath asked DARPA for grants to insert said cleavages.
Takeaways
EcoHealth Alliance used U.S. taxpayer dollars to facilitate gain-of-function research on coronaviruses at the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) in China.
Evidence obtained by the Select Subcommittee through document requests and transcribed interviews — including with former NIH Director Lawrence Tabak — confirms that EcoHealth facilitated gain-of-function research at the WIV during the fifth year it received funding from the NIH.
Dr. Daszak, Dr. Fauci, and other health leaders have repeatedly played semantics with the long-standing, widely understood definition of “gain-of-function” to avoid accountability for funding and facilitating this dangerous research.
Notably, the NIH removed the longstanding definition of “gain-of-function” from its website on the same day that former NIH Director Tabak reported EcoHealth’s dangerous experiments to Congress.
EcoHealth Alliance violated its NIH grant terms and conditions by failing to report a potentially dangerous gain-of-function experiment conducted at the WIV.
EcoHealth Alliance was required to immediately report any gain-of-function experiment that exhibited greater than “one log growth” — meaning a virus was modified to be 10 times more infectious.
Evidence shows that Dr. Daszak was aware of an experiment conducted with EcoHealth Alliance funding at the Wuhan Institute of Virology that exhibited this potentially dangerous “one log growth” characteristic, yet he failed to report the experiment to NIH.
EcoHealth Alliance also violated its NIH grant terms and conditions by failing to submit a required research update report — which included details about its gain-of-function work at the WIV — until nearly TWO YEARS after the NIH deadline.
EcoHealth was awarded five years of funding by the NIH to conduct research aimed at preventing pandemics. However, in the fifth year of receiving these funds—which concerningly coincides with the time period immediately preceding the COVID-19 pandemic—EcoHealth failed to submit its annual research update report to the NIH before the required deadline.
NIH finally received the report from EcoHealth in August 2021, nearly two years after the September 2019 deadline.
The Trump Administration identified serious concerns with EcoHealth Alliance’s funding of the Wuhan Institute of Virology and instructed NIH to fix the problem. Then, NIH terminated EcoHealth’s grant. Without the intervention of the Trump Administration, EcoHealth may have been allowed to continue its dangerous research.
Dr. Fauci and former NIH Director Lawrence Tabak testified that Mark Meadows, then Chief of Staff to then-President Donald Trump, instructed the NIH to terminate EcoHealth’s grant after the Trump Administration discovered significant malfeasance.
The NIH official in charge of grant compliance testified he was unaware of any problems with either EcoHealth or its grant to the WIV prior to the Trump Administration’s intervention.
Despite suggestions of political persecution against EcoHealth, NIH leadership supported every compliance action recommended by the Trump Administration after the malfeasance was discovered.
NIH is currently violating the terms of the WIV’s formal debarment by funding EcoHealth Alliance’s research.
NIH reinstated EcoHealth’s problematic grant in 2023 — in part because Dr. Daszak claimed to be in possession of virus sequences and samples that had not yet been tested and were previously paid for by the federal government.
When Dr. Daszak applied for grant reinstatement, he omitted the material fact that the unanalyzed samples and sequences were not in his custody but, instead, were in the custody and control of the WIV.
The terms of the WIV’s debarment not only prohibit EcoHealth from funding the lab but also prohibit the lab from influencing any activity that is funded by the U.S. taxpayer.
Since the untested samples remain at the WIV and are used to influence EcoHealth’s research, NIH’s funding of EcoHealth subsequently violates the WIV’s formal debarment.
The name Daszak is of Ukrainian origin and means “Thatcher”. I hope P. Daszak reaps many deserved returns from his work on the genocide. Also, this is funny. Daszak = noun = ballsack, and also a verb meaning to cover up wrongdoing....

The rats are preparing to jump ship and this narcissistic psycho is top of the list. I'm guessing Daszak will be first to get thrown under the bus.
