“Observations not only disturb what is to be measured, they produce it.” Pascual Jordon
The Observer Effect: Double Slit & the Nature of Awareness
You have likely heard of the Double Slit experiment, where particles of light (or matter) are fired toward a screen with two slits. When unobserved, they form an interference pattern, implying wave-like behavior and a spread of infinite possibilities. But when observed—when measured—they behave like particles, collapsing into a defined location.
In other words, observation turns probability into actuality. The act of watching literally changes the physical reality.
As I was writing this, I came across a YouTube video from Greg, The Forbidden Truth About Our Virtual Reality – Gregg Braden Compilation. “The act of us looking is an act of creation.”
What if prayer—especially intention bathed in love—is its own form of observation?
In science class, we learned that "every action gets a reaction." In consciousness research, it seems that many prayers have a field effect.
Spindrift EXperiments
I didn’t know there was a name for what I was doing, but then I stumbled upon Spindrift Research, and something clicked.
In the world of consciousness research, the Spindrift experiments remain a largely overlooked but fascinating attempt to quantify prayer and intention. In 1969, researchers Bruce and John Klingbeil set out to answer an age-old question with science: Does prayer have measurable effects in the physical world?
That same year, we reportedly landed on the Moon. Newfound hippies experienced Woodstock (courtesy of Tavistock). And the first message was sent over ARPANET, a precursor to the Internet. It was a threshold year — a collective rite of passage.
A paradox of ascent and descent, awakening and delusion, freedom and control.
Meanwhile, this father-son duo conducted lab experiments involving germinated seeds, such as soybeans, which offered a subtle yet profound suggestion: prayer could influence biological outcomes.
“Nothing we know of can entirely shield an individual's thought from incoming thoughts in the mental world, but this was a ‘blind’ test in that most participants were unaware of the needs of which beans,” according to the Spindrift Experiments website.
They observed how prayer might reverse chaos, guiding a disordered system back into harmony, like a compass realigning to true north.
They split intentions into two types:
Goal-directed prayer: "Make this mold die," or "Heal this plant."
Non-goal-directed prayer: “May the highest good unfold,/ May the organism best achieve its intended purpose.”
Not all prayers are equal.
Non-goal-directed prayer produced more stable, beneficial effects—less ego, more divine order. The field responded when the field wasn’t being forced. That is, prayers asking for a specific result versus those simply offering love, healing, and surrender to the highest outcome.
And guess what —the seeds that were the most fcked up—traumatized chemically burned, damaged—still grew.* Not just grew. They thrived when exposed to non-directed love.
A Spindrift Effect In Human Form
In life, we often try to control things or project our agenda on others, or pray to God for a specific outcome, as if s/he’s Santa.
Goal-directed prayers—“make this happen”—produce different outcomes than non-directed ones—“Thy will be done.” Non-directed prayers are consistent. More aligned with the organic flow of life. Less ego. More soul.
Non-directed prayer creates greater overall harmony—less mold growth, more resilient sprouts—without manipulating a specific variable. It is as if these benevolent waves of intention can envelop the being for the better if we could go beyond our need to define the outcome.
The distinction caught my attention.
It brought me back to him. A man I‘ve nicknamed Snuffalapagus because I often believe he was my imaginary friend, like with Big Bird. Over the past two years, I’ve only seen him maybe nine times, and yet, as crazy as it may sound, I believe I’ve known his soul for eternity.
Snuffy got in his own way, and in the process, it’s impacted me and my 3D life. Let’s say we are quantumly entangled as “strangers” without knowing we’d signed up for something far greater.
There are different sorts of love, and alas, most have become conditional. But sometimes you find yourself experiencing a boundless love that stretches you and takes over. I can vouch that your personality 3D self is not in control of who your soul loves.
Think about it — a directed prayer is selfish. But when you want that person or plant to flourish, regardless of you, well, you learn that the heart is magic.
While it’s normal to have desires, who are we to project what is best for another person? Each soul has their karma and dharma. Everyone has free will. Sometimes it looks and feels ugly, but they need to go through their process.
Of course, I didn’t want his poor decisions to impact my well-being. I had self-love.
While I initially prayed for what I wanted to manifest for my own happy ending, I came to realize that ultimately, I cared more about him being healthy and happy, and his soul remembering who he truly was.
This sort of love is only made for golden hearts. To expand its capacity, you need to let go and alchemize a lot of anger and ego. I used the Violet Ray and saw it swirling in and out of my heart, extending throughout the universe. “May the highest good unfold.”
Non-directed prayers work because trust and surrender are at play, rather than control and selfishness. Alas, most mortals have seemingly forgotten the power of the burning heart.
Interestingly, the man I call Snuffalapagus has a tattoo of a burning heart on his chest. The visual symbol prompted me to explore what Christ Consciousness is truly about.
I have reported on the magnificence of the heart grid in the face of a bio weapon created to attack the collective grid under the Rona Regime, specifically.
What if I told you that inside your heart is a room you can enter, a room under the stars? And that singing 'OHM' helps you find it? And that under the Age of Aquarius, you have an opportunity to let the solar flares expand your consciousness. Maybe without a kundalini awakening, I would not be writing these words. Who knows?
I had scheduled this piece, but I came in to add this part after a surprise Snuffy sighting.
I had a heart art on my bedroom wall, and he told me that if you were to unfold the heart.
When you unfold the heart, it generates a torus field. The torus is a dynamic, self-sustaining shape found throughout nature — from galaxies and magnetic fields to apples and the human aura.
In the case of the human heart:
The heart’s electromagnetic field is toroidal — it radiates out from the heart, loops around the body, and returns through the other side, forming a continuous flow.
According to research from the HeartMath Institute, this field extends 5 to 12 feet from the body. It is the most powerful electromagnetic field produced by the body, stronger even than the brain’s.
When we are in a state of love, gratitude, and coherence, this torus field becomes more ordered, expanded, and harmonious.
It can influence and entrain the fields of others, which is why a heart-centered person can shift the energy in a room.
To “unfold the heart” is to allow it to open, expand, and radiate, no longer contracted or armoured. In this way, you become a living toroidal being — self-sourced, connected, and flowing.
Wishing for the highest alignment without control takes surrender and faith. But think about it, the observer also benefits because they get an opportunity to align with their Better Self and faith instead of fear. Because when you love someone from that space, you’re not collapsing the wave. You’re amplifying the field.
In this spaciousness—this respect for free will—can create the most profound changes of all. This is where miracles are possible. And miracles do exist.
I am living proof.
This made me think about manifestation, too. You need to see it and feel it, but you also need to let it go. Things happen in the 5th dimension and then trickle down to the 3rd. Even Ray Kurzweil will tell you time is subjective. Under the Age of Aquarius, humans will see that things defy the mind. They always have, but the veil has been thinking rapidly.
Blind Faith is not easy. It comes with hiccups, tests, and that’s the beauty of it. Is it real faith or desperate hope?
Deep, unconditional love is a form of non-directed prayer.
As a six-planet in Capricorn gal, I have made things happen. I’ve tried to fix. I am a master of pulling rabbits out of my cute booty. Somehow, stillness and silent prayer feel scarier. It’s not easy for overachievers. But that is the work. The practice. The cultivation of faith. The path to self-mastery.
Consciousness affects matter. Intent reshapes reality. And love—pure, unfiltered, divine love—is the most potent force of all. The less you control the outcome, the more grace can rush in.
With non-directional prayer and for what is wanted, the best for someone, whatever that looks like, a beautiful plant can burst through the concrete.
And so it is.
