Excellent choice of topic to investigate! I’ve been thinking along similar lines. I just posted a short 22 minute video, about, “NPCs, Enlightenment, Operators and Things,” describing the ancient concept of Egregores (and showing a picture of one) along with insights, shared by a woman who wrote a book in 1958 about how she went into and out of schizophrenia, where she was able to see what she called Operators, and how they referred to humans as Things.
